Letter from the General Chairman

Dear Colleague:

Few things are changing as rapidly as computer simulation technology. Trying to keep up with several areas of interest can be difficult. Finding all the simulation information you need in one place, at the same time, is an incredible event!

Simulation is a proven technique that helps people make systems better.

As a vital computing technology, simulation is rapidly changing. New technologies, new products, and new applications continue this evolutionary process. Whether in manufacturing, military, communications, public policy, ..., as our systems become more complex, simulation plays a key role in predicting the impact of change as we try to improve these systems.

The source for simulation information is the 1995 Winter Simulation Conference.

WSC '95 continues the over twenty-five year tradition of the conference in providing the most complete, highest quality information concerning discrete event, continuous, and combined simulation technologies and products.

WSC '95 provides newcomers and experts with valuable information throughout the three and a half day program. Special program features include:

Over 200 presentations about methodology, applications, and research.

With over 200 presentations addressing everything from the basics to the latest research, WSC is the one place where you can go to get the best simulation information. Use the program outlined on the following pages to plan your attendance at this great event.

WSC '95 is the place to be. I hope to see you in Washington this December.

Sincerely,

William R. Lilegdon
General Chairman
