Report on the INFORMS Journal on ComputingIn the one-year period ending March 1, 2010, there have been 23 new submissions, 3 acceptances, and 13 rejections; there are 4 papers currently under first review. The average turnaround time over all rounds of all submissions made during this period has been 44.1 days. The Associate Editors in the JOC Simulation Area are Russell Barton, James M. Calvin, Raghu Pasupathy (who just joined), Bruno Tuffin, and Enver Yucesan (who is stepping down). I thank all of the AEs for doing a great job. The JOC Simulation Area covers all computational aspects of simulation. We seek high-quality research on the computational aspects of simulation model building, simulation data structures, simulation modeling and experiment environments, stochastic input modeling, random-variate generation, output analysis, optimization, variance-reduction methods for simulation experiments, and other aspects of simulation modeling, experimentation, and analysis. Tutorials and applications in the above areas that are comprehensive and integrate from multiple sources are also welcome. Complete instructions for preparing manuscripts are available at http://joc.pubs.informs.org. Submissions must be done electronically through Manuscript Central: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ijoc
